» Spanish Bread

For the dough

2-1/2 tsp instant yeast
3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup warm milk
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 eggs

For the filling

250gram softened butter
1 cup white sugar
1/3 cup breadcrumbs
mix all the filling ingredients until fully corporated.set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Add the melted butter, eggs, milk and combine well. On a clean surface dusted with flour, knead the mixture into a smooth elastic dough. Add more flour or milk if necessary. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the dough rest for 2hours.

Divide the dough into two equal parts. Shape each part into a log and divide into eight equal parts.spread the butter filling all over it.it depends how much u want to spread the filling but spread more,it will taste nice.Roll each piece into a 3- by 5-inch rectangular sheet. roll the sheet like you would a jelly roll. Start from one corner and roll towards the opposite corner. Then roll the rolls in breadcrumbs. Place the pieces with the seam-side down on a baking paper lines baking sheet or greased baking sheet.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.Let the rolls rise for another 20 to 30 minutes. Bake until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes or might take more(depends on your oven).

Spanish bread freezes very well. Toss a frozen roll in the microwave and reheat for 30 seconds. Size of the rolls totally up to you,in the video i made bit bigger in size so i got 12 rolls with this recipe but u can easily make 16rolls if keeping the size bit smaller.
